Bring refrigerated peptides to room temp slowly before use. Avoid extreme temperature changes. Never heat a peptide solution to speed dissolution — swirl at room temperature only.
UV and visible light break peptide bonds and cause oxidation. Keep vials in original boxes or wrapped in foil. Work quickly when exposed. Amber vials add further protection.
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) for multi-dose use. Sterile water for single-use only. Never use tap water, saline, or any other fluid unless specifically required by the compound's protocol.
Lyophilized powder typically has a 2+ year shelf life frozen. Reconstituted peptides degrade faster — typically 4–8 weeks refrigerated. Label everything. When in doubt, discard.
