Reconstitution is the process of dissolving lyophilized peptide powder in sterile diluent to create an injectable solution. Follow these 8 steps precisely to preserve peptide integrity and ensure accurate dosing.

Quick Dosing Formula

Dose (mcg) ÷ Concentration (mcg/mL) = Volume to draw (mL)
Example: 250 mcg ÷ 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.10 mL = 10 units on a U-100 syringe
Concentration = [Vial mg × 1,000] ÷ [BAC water added in mL]. E.g. 5 mg + 2 mL = 2,500 mcg/mL.

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) for multi-dose use, or sterile water for single-use

Alcohol swabs (70% isopropyl)

Clean, flat, well-lit surface — ideally wiped down with 70% IPA
